Cinderella Wedding

I am off to Disney for a week vacation with my family. We love Disney.
Several years ago, I had a small southern wedding and a Disney honeymoon. We spent a couple of day on land at Disney World then boarded the ship for an amazing cruise.

Disney is the perfect getaway location for a wedding and/or honeymoon. Photos courtesy of The Walt Disney Company © .

My favorite Disney (wedding/honeymoon related) sites are Go Disney, Mouseweddings, and About.com

News: Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates in the AJC

We had a blast at the Jezebel event. The Script band members enjoyed our gelato. One band member came up to personally praise our gelato.

Once I get the photos from the event, I will be sure to share them. See the post from the AJC.

Custom Chocolates: My 1st Birthday

I am creating custom chocolates for my client's daughter's first birthday. The flavor of the ganache is to be determined at a later date, but the design is beautiful.

I like the detail surrounding the monogram. It is difficult to see with the above image, but it will be amazing on the truffles. The design was created by Luxe Expressions.

Wedding Treats: Granitas

A granita is a semi-frozen dessert (similar to sorbet but more crystallized) made of water, sugar and flavoring (i.e. fruit, coffee, chocolate, etc). Last summer, we made delicious granitas like coconut, pineapple, watermelon, cappuccino, and so many more. Granitas make the perfect wedding treat during the spring and summer.

Why settle for plain ice cream when you can have a Sicilian masterpiece.

Chocolate Art

I get to work with some exceptional photographers that truly take my breath away. I love "one of a kind", unique and unexpected pictures that make the admirer look twice. Pictures that ignite feelings (either love or hate), but are not ignored or easily forgotten.

Custom Chocolates - David Christensen Photography

I worked with David and Paula Christensen to create their perfect truffles. Their two color logo looks amazing on dark chocolate. For the first chocolate order, milk champagne truffles and dark raspberry truffles were created.

I finished the dark raspberry truffles on Friday while David took pictures of my chocolates for my ad in the next issue of the Atlantan Bride. I gave David total freedom of the ad's creative design. His preliminary work was perfect so I can't wait to see the final product.

A Princess Wedding: Leeds Castle

While living in England, I had the opportunity to visit some breathtaking castles. My favorite was Leeds Castle. It is outside the city of London in the countryside of Kent. It is a perfect venue to have a storybook wedding.

The grounds are beautiful with lush greenery, lakes, and a maze.

There is a bird viewing area on the grounds.

The castle decor is antique (the queen's bathroom above).

Yet, some rooms are very modern.

I loved this exquisite fireplace. And yes, that is King Henry VIII in the painting.
