Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates + Wedding Favors + Montaluce Winery

About a month ago, I met with the sweetest bride that wanted us to create her dream wedding favors. She wanted chocolate covered gold almonds in a beautiful box with custom tags. The order was truly custom since we had never created chocolate covered gold almonds.

We worked with Laura, owner of ink & paint, to create the custom tag. I was amazed with Laura's attention to detail and high quality product. The wedding was held at the timeless Montaluce Winery.

Dreamy Gelato & Chocoaltes + Emilie Duncan Events + Wedding Chocolates

I love working with clients that push the creativity envelop. Currently, I am working with Emilie Duncan of Emilie Duncan Event Planning in Columbus Ohio to create custom chocolates for her client. What makes this project unique is the variation in design and custom flavor. The truffles will be displayed on the tables and admired by guests once they enter the reception hall.

I can't wait to see the pictures from this wedding event. I am confident the wedding guests will be speechless.

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates' Gelato Cart

In last week's post, it mentioned the popularity of our gelato cart. Caramel Pecan gelato was popular at our corporate event; however, at the Bar Mitzvah held at the Botanital Gardens, Dulce de Leche was the popular flavor.

This is our most time consuming flavor to create because the Dulce de Leche needs to cook/simmer for a long time. It is yum and worth every minute to create.

What I adored about this event was the creativity. Our gelato was a gift to the young man so we customized everything from the gelato to the flavor names.

The labels were very sentimental for the family. A simple label to many of us was a family treasure during the event. Dreamy Gelato and Chocolates was honored to be apart of the celebration.

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates' Gelato Cart

Last week was all about the gelato cart. Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates catered a corporate event and a Bar Mitzvah. Both events were fun and very fast pace. When we arrived at the corporate event, there was over two hundred people waiting in line for gelato. The popular gelato for this event was Caramel Pecan.

Our caramel is made from scratch with sugar, butter, salt, and other ingredients.

What makes this gelato so popular is the layers of pecans (some plain others roasted with salt). Delicious!!!

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates + Caramal Chocolate Apples

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates created custom caramel apples for the Studio Wed Atlanta's Inspired Bride event. Making caramel apples from scratch is a lot harder than it looks. Creating the perfect caramel coating is tricky. We worked hard on the caramel recipe for several days. Some recipes were too hard while others were too soft, below is our perfect creation.
